Today we filmed more of our film, the flashback scene, we wanted to include a flashback in our final film to create suspense and also mystery and it is a good lead for the rest of the storyline. We filmed the flashback in school in one of the drama rooms, we pretended to tie Anna up and filmed shots of her coming back to consciousness and trying to escape.
We also filmed someone looking in the window at her and eventually someone (acted by Elle) came through the door and came towards Anna. We decided to zoom into Anna's necklace as maybe a clue as to why she was kidnapped in the first place, it could be someone she loved who gave her it, etc.
It only took us about half an hour to film which was great as we were able to film it and edit it all in one day. We want to make the flashback seem distorted and crazy to replicate how the girl is feeling or her mind is disorientated. To create this, when editing we merged lots of clips together so it looks very disorientated and crazy, imitating the tone of the film and the emotions of the protagonist.
During editing we also added our music and sound effects and made some more changes to the film to make sure we were all happy with it. When we decided we all liked it we could upload it to YouTube and we had completed our final film.
